DESCRIPTION:

Infacta was an established, independent software development company based in Sligo town, which provided software solution packages for international marketing metrics and analysis.

PollDaddy was a software product solution for casting polls on blog platforms to gather market research and analytical data.

The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to create a risqué and 'edgy' brand design in order to generate buzz for the launch of a new software package.

The software product had the name 'PollDaddy', so taking the name literally Zetagram developed a design concept around the image of a woman in pigtails provocatively licking a lollipop. The basis for this was that the other software products in the range had circular symbol motifs and the lollipop would fit into the same format.

The logotype itself was formed from carefully selected classic sans font styles, and supported with the tag line 'Are you thinking what I'm thinking?' also developed by Zetagram.

The campaign for the launch included tshirt merchandising designs, posters, stickers and concept business card designs.

The design camapign was further developed by Zetagram to act as a front end for the software management/brochure website with a fresh white web 2.0 look.

Zetagram was also involved with the development of the actual software product interface [GUI], creating multiple style options and coding XHTML and CSS to integrate with the product framework.

As the launched product became established, Zetagram help to design the second phase of the campaign, which dropped the woman graphic but retained the lollipop, and created a more refined web interface for the enhanced product and options.
