Claremorris Small Animal Practice was a small, independent start-up veterinary practice based in Claremorris, County Mayo, which offered treatments and products for dogs, cats and other pets in Claremorris and the surrounding area.
The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to create a logo corporate identity to stand out from other larger animal veterinary services in Claremorris, which mostly specialised in cattle and horses.
After a client consultation, competitor research and analysis, Zetagram determined that the best design route would be an approachable and family targeted logo design.
The design featured hand-drawn dog and cat characters by Zetagram, balanced with a traditional and reliable typography style in classic fonts. The colour scheme palette was bright and fresh to stand out from the competitors, but still soft enough to feel friendly.
Within the guidelines of professional standards for veterinarians, Zetagram applied this logo style to business cards, stationery and building signage to establish the identity of the business.
As the business developed , a leaflet brochure was also designed to promote products and services, using fun stock imagery recomposed around the related information.
For an online web presence, the brochure content was redesigned and rebuilt as an XHTML web page, with opening times and contact details to encourage enquiries.
