DESCRIPTION:

Gulf Oil was a major global oil company with it's Ireland franchise offices based in Collooney, County Sligo, which provided oil products and independent service station franchises nationwide.

Burger Express was a development fork to create a brand for a new fast food outlet located at the Gulf Oil service station based in Collooney, County Sligo.

The initial brief to Zetagram* by the client was to create a brand name and style for a stand-alone fast food business (possible franchise) that was being created as part of a service station development at Collooney, County Sligo.

After extensive competitor research and analysis, Zetagram developed and presented over 200 possible brand name suggestions with available dotCom or dotIE domain names.

As part of the client's decision process, Burger Express was one of the names chosen to explore for a brand design.

For the design of the Burger Express brand, Zetagram aimed to create a feeling of motion by sourcing a carefully selected font and combining this with speed lines. The brand logo was skewed and tilted to make it feel less static, and presented with a red, white and blue colour scheme to position it within the fast food industry's group of brands.

To further demonstrate the design to the client, it was applied to uniform clothing and food packaging designs, in a style that made it feel like a US imported brand.
